We would like your Strulch mulch delivery to run as smoothly and safely as possible, therefore please read the delivery information carefully and consider the best option for you. You will be able to review a calculated delivery cost before proceeding to payment.

It is important that you chose the right vehicle for your delivery as redeliveries will cause a delay in you receiving your Strulch. Redeliveries will incur additional charges.

If you need to be at home to open gates etc please consider asking for a specific date at least a week in advance.

The delivery companies now provide a tracking system. Once the pallet has left our site we will send you a tracking number by email so that you can see when your order is due to be delivered.

Strulch mulch delivery advice for bulk pallets

Normal lorry deliveries of Strulch are usually made between 8am and 5:30pm on weekdays. If you need to be at home to open gates etc please consider asking for a specific date at least a week in advance.

Our Normal lorry delivery is typically made on a larger 17/18 tonne rigid vehicle and there is no additional cost for this, however, please read the following carefully before deciding which is the best option for you:

The vehicle will lower pallets of Strulch to the ground using an electric lift. Pallets need to be set down on a non-gravel hard standing area because the trolley wheels cannot operate on gravel or similar loose chippings. The trolley can then be pushed a short distance providing the gradient is not too steep.

Please let us know where to leave the pallet if you are not in when the delivery arrives. At the checkout, you will have the option to provide additional delivery instructions to us. Our delivery agent also requires a telephone number (preferably a mobile number) to ensure they can contact you even when you are away from home. Deliveries will be made roadside. Normally that means the end of your drive.

Please note: Our delivery team are not responsible for any additional lifting or carrying of your Strulch, nor will they deliver a single order to multiple addresses.

Smaller Lorry Delivery

Strulch mulch delivery advice for bulk pallets

Smaller lorry deliveries of Strulch are usually made between 8am and 5:30pm on weekdays. In addition to you tracking your order you will receive notification form the delivery company on the day of delivery.

Smaller lorry delivery is available for all sizes of Strulch except 48 bags due to the pallet height limitation for this vehicle and the smaller lorry option will not be available during checkout. If you require 48 bags please consider 40 bags + 12 bags for Smaller lorry deliveries.

All Smaller lorry deliveries will be made using a 7.5/12 tonne curtain sided vehicle with a tail lift and there is an additional £12.60 charge for this size vehicle selectable during checkout.

We will forward your request to the delivery company Occasionally there may not be a smaller lorry available and they will use a larger 17T vehicle for delivery. We are not made aware of when this will occur. If you have booked a smaller lorry and delivery is made using a 17T vehicle, please inform us so that we can arrange a refund of the charge.

Delivery charges will be calculated and added to your order before you checkout. Delivery charges are charged per pallet and 12, 25, 40 and 48 bags are each delivered on single pallets.

Smaller Lorry Delivery (7.5/12 tonne vehicle)

For restricted access that requires a smaller 7.5/12T lorry delivery (We will forward your request to the delivery company, and in most cases, this can be accommodated.)

An additional £12.60 per order


Timed Delivery

Due to a national shortage of HGV drivers we are unable to accept next day or timed deliveries. Should you require delivery on a specific date please contact us or request it in the special delivery instructions during checkout.

How long will my Strulch delivery take?

Delivery will normally take place four/five working days from the next working day from when you place your order, however if you need a specific day after this please indicate your preferred delivery date in the delivery instructions box. We will send you a tracking number by email so that you can see when your order is due to be delivered.

Working days are classified as Monday to Friday and exclude bank holidays. Therefore, typically, if you place your order on a Monday, you should receive your delivery on Friday of the same week or the following Monday.

Delivery Addresses

Strulch deliver to all mainland Great Britain address. For customers who live in some remote rural areas our delivery service may be extended by 2 working days or we may contact you to advise that your address is not serviceable. Note: offshore addresses e.g. the Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Scottish Islands are normally delivered to a freight forwarder on the mainland for you to negotiate onward shipping.

We can deliver to Northern Ireland but will require additional information. Call us on 01943 863610 or email [email protected] to discuss and for a quotation.

Delivery to an address other than your billing address is permitted - you have the option to specify a different delivery address at checkout. When your order confirmation arrives please make sure that the correct delivery address is shown.

Do I need to be at home for my delivery and should I sign for my delivery if I am home?

It is not necessary to be at home to take the delivery providing the pallet can be left in a safe place off the highway ( pavement or road). If the latter you need to be there to take responsibility for moving the pallet afterwards.

The delivery companies will leave the goods without a signature if you are away from home but please be warned that you must check that the pallet is in tact before you sign for goods. By signing you are accepting that the goods are complete and in good condition. Once signed for the delivery company will not be liable if goods have been damaged or lost in transit.

A signature at delivery is not required but by signing you agree that the goods are as described.

If you are not at home when the delivery was made and there is a problem with the delivered goods you must notify us within 24 hours with a full description of any damage and ideally with photographs.

If your order was not delivered on the scheduled day

When your pallet leaves us we will send you a tracking number by email so that you can track when your order is due to be delivered. On the day of delivery you will get another email with confirmation that it is loaded and ready for delivery.

Despite the delivery company tracking emails and sharing information with the delivery company, things don't always go according to plan. Deliveries may be delayed or instructions overlooked. When such issues arise, we do our best to resolve them promptly.

Unfortunately, we often don't have updates indicating that a delivery cannot be made until you bring it to our attention. Please let us know if your order has not arrived by 6pm on the scheduled day and we will try our best to get deliveries to you as fast as we can taking into account any reasonable requests.

Whilst we will always make every effort to deliver your order on the agreed delivery date we can not be held responsible for matters beyond our control that results in your Strulch order not arriving on the day in question.
