Strulch’s Pelleted Compost Reaches The Final Of The Shell Springboard Challenge

Strulch's new pelleted compost reaches the final of the Shell Spring Board Challenge. The competition's aim is to promote small companies with products designed to reduce carbon emissions. Strulch have introduced a new concept compost in a pelleted form which reduces the volume and weight by 60% thus reducing transport and packaging costs with an associated carbon saving. The product is also peat free and is made from a renewable and local resource. Peat is a carbon rich material that emits carbon when it is mined to add to traditional composts. Other materials used in compost are brought across the world and have a huge carbon footprint. Strulch's new product will bring a 'greener option' to consumers and will be available soon.
