Jaimie Hooker - Head Gardener, Park House, Woburn

We have used Strulch now for two years - as with all new products on the market we were sceptical at first, and on opening the first bag we thought this material was just going to blow everywhere!
We were wrong - it is not only very easy to put down but it knits together very well and even in the strongest winds it does not move.
The two most obvious benefits are weed control and moisture retention and we now use Strulch in all our herbaceous boarders, rose beds and shrub beds. Basically, where we used to see soil, now we see Strulch.
We top up our beds every year now as the Strulch gradually breaks down into the soil, which is another benefit.
We had our first open day last year at Park House, and the big question of the day was "what is this mulch and where do you get it from?"
We like this product very much, and it has helped us to maintain the garden to a very high standard ... thank you!
Les Armstrong, Head Gardener Eaton Hall (Duke of Westminister Estate)

We are into our second season of using Strulch and we are extremely pleased with the product, very good weed suppressant, good moisture retention, this year we have used it around fruit trees, this has worked well as a cushion for windfalls, so not a lot of bruising to the fruit and there is no doubt we will use Strulch in the future
Derek Horton, Head Gardener, The Alnwick Garden, Duchess of Northumbria

It is the second year we have used strulch as a prevantive measure against slugs and snails in the walled ornamental garden here at the Alnwick Garden. The results have been tremendous yet again, with huge interest from the visitors on how and why we use it on the delphinium and hosta plants specifically. Strulch is light weight and easy to apply especially around more delicate plants in the ealy spring and is ideal for home and domestic use as well as the professional.
